8th Unlock the Past Cruise announced for 2015

Following the success of previous genealogy cruises, 'Unlock the Past' , the genealogy cruise specialists, have announced a new cruise for 2015. The 8th Unlock the Past Cruise will tour the Baltic and as well as visiting a number of European countries, will feature a selection of leading family history specialists giving talks on how to discover your ancestors. Bookings are now being taken for this 14 night cruise which starts  from Southampton on Saturday 11 July  and returns on Saturday 25 July. The cruise takes in Belgium, Germany, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Conference speakers for the main talks will be announced nearer the time. Unlock the Past Cruises proving popular

As the 4th Unlock the Past Cruise gets underway in Australia early next week, the popularity of genealogy themed cruises shows no sign of abating. The Australian cruise was a sell out and the organisers will be hoping for  similar demand on the 5th cruise, around the British Isles in July. Scheduled for the 19th- 29th July 2014, on the Marco Polo ship, the cruise promises 40 topics, 25 different sessions and 10 Research 'help' zones during the voyage. Presenters announced for 5th Unlock the Past Cruise Programme

Latest news from 'Unlock the Past' cruises is the announcement of the family history speakers that will provide the talks on board the cruise around the British Isles. On board the Marco Polo cruise ship will be a selection of experts including Paul Blake, Jackie Depelle, Marie Dougan, Jayne Shrimpton, Lisa Louise Cooke, Rosemary Kopittle, Mike Murray, Lesley Silvester and Helen Smith. The initial itinerary is for there to be about 40 topics discussed in 25 sessions. More details will no doubt be announced closer to the event in July next year.
